NEW YORK– Lindsay Goldberg, a leading private equity firm focused on partnering with families and founders, today announced it has completed an investment in Range Electric Supply (“Range” or the “Company”), a founder-led distributor of electrical products serving commercial and industrial end markets. The investment was made in partnership with Range’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, as well as other members of the Range management team. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Range is a leading distributor of mission-critical electrical products — including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, wire and cable, conduit, and lighting — operating a multi-state branch network that serves several thousand customers. The Company complements its distribution business with value-added services such as project management, custom fabrication, kitting, and just-in-time logistics. Its deep bench of local experts and solutions-oriented approach have driven rapid growth since inception within a $150+ billion industry.
